Magna Solar is the solar division of Magna Lights Africa Limited, an engineering company working in solar EPC, telecommunications infrastructure and power systems across East Africa since 2016.
What the company does
The business covers solar EPC, telecom tower construction, outdoor cabinet manufacturing, DC power systems and field operations management. Solar sits alongside the telecom work rather than apart from it: the discipline of building power systems that run unattended at remote tower sites is the same discipline that makes a commercial rooftop system reliable.

Licensing and certification
Magna Solar is EPRA licensed and NCA registered, and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Installations are carried out by EPRA-certified technicians. Kenyan regulation requires licensed personnel for solar electrical work, and equipment warranties are generally conditional on competent installation, so it is worth verifying the licence of any contractor you engage — including us.
Equipment
We supply tier-1 equipment with manufacturer warranties, principally TW Solar modules and LIVOLTEK inverters and batteries, and work with Huawei, BYD, JA Solar, Polarium and Vertiv among others on larger projects. We do not stock modified sine wave inverters or unbranded storage, at any price.
