440W TW Bifacial Solar Panel
About this product
The 440W bifacial module is the value option in our panel range and the one most residential arrays are built from. At KES 9,900 it works out at roughly KES 22.50 per watt.
Being bifacial, the rear face also generates from reflected light. How much that is worth depends on how the panel is mounted: on a raised ground-mount or an elevated frame over light-coloured ground the rear contribution is real, while flat against a dark mabati roof it is close to negligible. Choose this panel on price per watt, and treat any rear-face gain as a bonus that the mounting design either captures or does not.
A 5kW array from these panels is twelve modules and needs roughly 26 to 30 square metres of unshaded roof.

Installation and warranty
Supplied with the manufacturer's warranty. Installation is carried out by EPRA-certified technicians; Kenyan regulation requires licensed personnel for solar electrical work, and equipment warranties are generally conditional on competent installation.
