3.5kW LIVOLTEK Off-Grid Inverter with MPPT
About this product
This is the inverter behind most of the residential systems we install. 3.5kW of continuous output covers a typical three-bedroom household — lighting, refrigeration, television, electronics, a water pump — provided the heavy loads are not all running at the same moment.
Pure sine wave output matters for anything with a motor or a compressor. A fridge or a pump on a modified sine wave supply runs hot and noisy and has a shorter life; that is the reason we do not stock modified sine wave units at any price.
The MPPT charge controller tracks the array's maximum power point as light and panel temperature change through the day. Against a PWM controller the difference is most visible in bright, cool conditions — which describes a Nairobi morning for most of the year.
Before ordering, check the starting current of the largest motor you intend to run. Inverter sizing fails on the start, not the run.

Installation and warranty
Supplied with the manufacturer's warranty. Installation is carried out by EPRA-certified technicians; Kenyan regulation requires licensed personnel for solar electrical work, and equipment warranties are generally conditional on competent installation.
