Refund & Return Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through www.magnasolar.ke within Kenya. We are committed to delivering high-quality solar products and reliable installation services.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery. If more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

1. Eligible Products

Returns and exchanges apply to new and unused products only.

Both defective and non-defective items may be returned if they meet the following conditions:

  • The item is unused
  • The item is in its original condition
  • The item is returned with original packaging

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Installed or used solar systems and components
  • Customized solar installations or configured systems
  • Perishable or consumable items
  • Hazardous materials

Additional non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or system configurations
  • Certain electrical or safety-sensitive components once installed

3. Proof of Purchase

All returns must be accompanied by a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

4. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:

  • Items showing signs of use
  • Items not in original condition
  • Items returned with missing parts not due to our error
  • Items returned after the 30-day window

5. Change of Mind (Non-Defective Items)

If you change your mind, you may return the item within 30 days provided:

  • The product is new and unused
  • It is in original packaging

Once received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 days.

6. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Email info@magnasolar.ke with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging

After verification, we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund.

7. Incorrect Item Received

If you receive the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange collection and send the correct item or issue a refund.

8. Item Not Delivered

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, contact us and we will investigate with the courier and resolve the issue.

9. Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order:

  • Before dispatch: Full refund issued
  • After dispatch: Item must be returned and processed under standard return terms

10. How to Request a Return or Refund

Step 1: Contact Us
Email info@magnasolar.ke within 30 days and include:

  • Order number
  • Proof of purchase
  • Reason for return

Step 2: Approval
We will review and provide return instructions.

Step 3: Prepare the Item
Ensure it is unused, in original condition, and properly packaged.

Step 4: Return Shipment
Send the item as instructed.

11. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified.

Approved refunds are processed within 10 days to the original payment method.

We do not charge restocking fees.

12. Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn’t been received:

  • Check your bank account
  • Contact your payment provider
  • Contact your bank

13. Sale Items

Sale items are eligible for return within 30 days under the same conditions as regular items.

14. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for:

  • Defective items
  • Eligible unused products

To request an exchange, email info@magnasolar.ke with your order details.

15. Gifts

  • If marked as a gift: you receive store credit
  • If not: refund is issued to the original buyer

16. Return Shipping

Returns are handled via courier.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to:

  • Defective product
  • Damaged item
  • Incorrect item supplied

We recommend using tracked shipping. Magna Solar is not responsible for items lost without tracking.
